ICSB (International Canine Semen Bank) Vancouver Island is the latest addition to the services offered at Van Isle Veterinary Hospital in Courtenay BC.  We are excited to be the only licensed ICSB service provider on Vancouver Island offering a full range of reproductive services including:

.                    collection and freezing and storage of canine semen

·                    shipping of fresh chilled or frozen canine semen

·                    receipt and insemination of fresh or frozen canine semen

·                    semen evaluations to assess stud dog viablity

Van Isle Veterinary has been providing services to Vancouver Island breeders for the last eight years and is well equipted to meet the needs of ICSB Vancouver Island.

The newly constructed hospital  boasts a 10,000 sq ft floor plan which  includes: two operating theatres, digital xray, ultrasound, endoscopy, dental treatment room, necropsy, pharmacy, seperate dog and cat wards, in house lab, isolation room, large animal barn,  meeting room, quiet room, a fenced outdoor green space, and a spacious reception area.

In addition to reproductive services through ICSB Vancouver Island, a full range of Veterinary breeder services is also offered through Van Isle Veterinary Hospitial including , Penn Hip, OFA and OVC hip xrays, thyroid testing, SA skin punch testing, cruciate ligament repair, OFA practitioner cardiac exams, as well as puppy wellness exams, flight certificates and microchipping.
